What AI makers show of finished work

An index of what 26 AI video and drama makers show of finished work on their own sites, read on each maker's showcase, homepage or festival page: where the work sits, labels, numbered episodes, running times, a synopsis or prompt, the credit, the model, a date and any offer to reuse the work. Nothing is played, timed or judged. As of 2026-09-25.

1The gallery wall

One card per maker, in alphabetical order. The strip under each name has nine frames, filled where the maker's own pages show the item; left to right they are showcase, labels, episodes, running time, story, credit, model, date and reuse. Open a card for the wording, quoted and dated.

Inclusion rule. All 26 makers in the index; an item counts when a page the maker chose to show work on prints it. Order. The order items take on every maker page.

3Why look at what a maker shows

A demo clip shows what a model can do in a few seconds. A finished episode shows what a whole workflow produces when someone takes a story from page to screen. What a maker chooses to put on its own site is the plainest evidence of what it expects its tool to be used for: single clips, full films, or episodes that come in order.

For anyone turning a novel or a script into a series, three things on a showcase are worth more than the polish of any single clip: whether episodes follow one another, how long a finished piece runs, and whether the page says how it was made.

4What the index finds

Episodes listed by number appear on 6 makers' pages: Character App, Flixly, GenCartoon, Higgsfield, Morphic and Revid. A running time is printed by Character App, Flixly, GenCartoon, Revid, Runway, SceneMixer and TrendShort. Character App, Google Flow, Moonvalley and StoryShort name the model beside the work, and Runway files some of its own work on a shelf named for its model.

A way to take a shown work further, by cloning it, remixing it or reusing its prompt, is offered by 6: Flixly, Google Flow, Pexo, Revid, Showrunner and TrendShort. Everywhere else the showcase is for watching only.

Every reading is quoted from the maker's page and dated. A maker that changes its showcase changes the reading; the index records what a visitor saw on the reading day.

Four makers people search for by name are read the same way in a column of their own, from a drama tool's account of the film it hands back to a retired model's back catalogue, under shown work.
