What AI makers show of finished work

Running time on AI video showcases

A running time is how long a piece lasts from first frame to last, printed beside it on the page. It is the plainest measure of how far a tool carried a story. From 3 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.

Seven makers print one. Revid gives 1:27, 2:01 and 0:28 for its three films. Runway gives times for seven of its ten festival winners, from 4:19 to 8:21. TrendShort puts one on every featured work, such as 1:23, and SceneMixer prints the length of each sample episode in seconds, 140 for The Last Envelope.

The other makers print none, which leaves a visitor to press play to find out whether a piece is a scene, a short or a film.

Running times are easy to print and hard to fake, which is why their absence is worth noticing.

They are not a quality score. A short piece can be finished and a long one padded; the number says how much was attempted.
