Samples and real work
Some showcase pieces are demonstrations, made by the maker to show the tool; others are real work, made by users or filmmakers for an audience. Character App marks its sitcom a fictional sample series. From 5 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.
TrendShort credits every featured work to its own studio, and GenCartoon's mini-series and mini-movie are credited to GenCartoon itself.
Runway's festival films and Mootion's user videos sit at the other end: work someone made because they wanted it to exist.
Both are useful. A sample shows the maker's best case; real work shows what happens when someone else holds the tool. A showcase with only samples leaves the second question open.

2What finished work comes out of
The finished work behind “Samples and real work” is made in steps; SceneMixer's guides describe them:
The samples page for 15 languages lists one finished series per language, each with the cast speaking that language natively and every segment's storyboard shown next to its video.
SceneMixer, AI Short Drama in 15 Languages (2026): Interface, Scripts and the Dialogue Your Cast Actually Speaks — “Can I watch a sample in my language before I start?” (read 2026-10-13)
Scene art is generated as part of a project, from the locations the script actually uses, because its purpose is to be reused by that project's shots.
