Trailer: selling a story that may not exist yet
A trailer is a short cut of scenes that sells a longer story. On AI showcases it is a common format, because it needs impact rather than continuity. From 3 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.
LTX Studio tags two of its examples as movie trailers as well as films, and AnimateAI lists movie trailers among its five use cases. Higgsfield files DINOFORCE under its Original Series as a trailer rather than an episode.
Trailers flatter a tool. Each shot only has to look right for a second or two; there is no scene that must hold together and no character who must look the same ten minutes later.
That makes a trailer a weak guide for series work. It shows the look a tool can reach, not whether it can carry a story.
On a showcase, count how many pieces are trailers and how many are complete stories; the balance says what the maker is most confident about.

2Behind a finished episode
The finished work behind “Trailer” is made in steps; SceneMixer's guides describe them:
A script longer than about 10,000 characters (counted as Chinese-equivalent characters) is read in two passes: first the cast, sets and props, then the episode list with a short outline per episode.

SceneMixer turns a novel into a watchable short-drama series in one pipeline: upload the novel (Chinese or English) → AI extracts characters, scenes, and an episode-by-episode structure → generates consistent character and scene art → writes storyboard scripts → renders video segment by segment (16:9 by default, 9:16 in one setting) → composites full episodes.
