The showcase index as a data file
The index comes as a single CSV: 264 readings, nine items, 26 makers. Each row keeps the address it was read from and the reading day, and the file is shared under CC BY 4.0. As of 2026-09-25.
| Column | Holds |
|---|---|
| fact_id | Maker, item and a counter |
| value | The reading in one sentence |
| applies_to | The part of the page it comes from |
| source_url | The page |
| source_name | Maker and page |
| value_since | The day read |
| verified | The day read |
Inclusion rule. Every column in the file. Order. File order.
1Using the file
An id such as runway-runtime is Runway's reading on running times; a trailing number, as in google-flow-credit-2, marks a second reading on the same item. The applies-to column says which part of the page the words come from, a festival list, a video card or a shelf heading.
Items a maker's page does not show are rows too, with an empty value and the index's none wording, so a gap can be counted like an answer.
The quote column carries the words as they stood on the page, with line breaks folded into spaces. Some are card labels or filter names rather than sentences.
A showcase that is redesigned or reshuffled will read differently later; each row describes the page on the day it was read, not the maker's catalogue for all time.
Rows sort naturally by maker, since every id starts with the maker's name. Sorting by the item part of the id instead lines up, say, every running-time reading in the index one under another.
The works tables on maker pages are not in the file. They copy titles and labels as the page lists them and are there to show what the readings refer to.

3What finished work comes out of
The finished work behind “Data” is made in steps; SceneMixer's guides describe them:
You can recomposite with different end-card text, and in step-by-step mode you can reshoot individual segments. The finished file can also be downloaded and shared with a link.

The samples page for 15 languages lists one finished series per language, each with the cast speaking that language natively and every segment's storyboard shown next to its video.

The quote column. Each reading in the file also carries the words on its source page that it was read from, so any row can be checked against that page. Rows recorded as not stated on the pages read leave it empty.
